The transformer’s oil volume is dynamically adjusted and compensated through the flexible corrugated sheets of the corrugated oil tank. This design ensures isolation from air, thereby preventing oil degradation and insulation aging, enhancing operational reliability, and eliminating the need for routine maintenance during standard operations.
Main Components:
The primary components of the 12500kVA Copper Oil-Immersed Distribution Transformer include the Oil Tank, Conservator, Buchholz Relay, Breather Unit, Oil Indicator, Temperature Detector, Pressure Relief Device, Thermal Relay, Radiator, and Bushing.
1. The oil tank is designed to immerse the windings, ensuring optimal cooling and insulation.
2. This transformer complies with strict IEC standards and holds CE/ISO certifications, ensuring top-notch quality and safety.
3. Allows easy contact and expansion during load variations, hence controlling the oil temperature effectively.
4. The Buchholz relay is essential when a conservator tank is used. It detects faults such as oil loss or improper oil flow between the tank and transformer, providing critical protection.
5. The Breather Unit, equipped with silica gel, absorbs moisture in the oil. The gel changes color from blue to pink when saturated, indicating it's time for replacement.
6. The oil indicator accurately shows the oil level within the conservator unit, helping in maintaining the correct oil quantity.
7. The temperature detector continuously monitors oil temperature. If it exceeds the safe limit, the transformer is automatically disconnected to prevent damage.
8. The pressure relief device mitigates internal pressure, preventing potential explosions and ensuring operational safety.
