Unlike traditional oil-immersed transformers, this fully sealed transformer eliminates the need for an oil conservator. The transformer automatically adjusts and compensates for oil volume changes through the elasticity of the corrugated oil tank's sheet. By isolating the transformer from air exposure, it prevents oil degradation and insulation aging, significantly enhancing operational reliability and reducing the necessity for maintenance during normal operations.
Main Components:
The primary components of this 2500kVA Dry Type Power Supply Transformer include the Oil Tank, Conservator, Buchholz Relay, Breather Unit, Oil Indicator, Temperature Detector, Pressure Relief Device, Thermal Relay, Radiator, and Bushing.
1. The oil tank submerges the windings in oil, providing necessary cooling and insulation.
2. Designed to fully comply with IEC standards and certified with CE/ISO certifications.
3. Engineered to enhance contact and enlarge during loading, facilitating optimal oil temperature regulation.
4. The Buchholz relay is applicable when a conservator tank is employed. It detects issues such as low oil levels and improper oil flow between the tank and transformer.
5. The Breather Unit contains silica gel that absorbs moisture from the oil, changing color from blue to pink when its moisture absorption capacity is exhausted.
6. The oil indicator measures the oil level within the conservatory unit, ensuring optimal operation.
